Important things to be aware of before using international shipping from Malaysia with Flickpost
Place a booking in our system before 12:00 noon for same day pick up.
Volumetric weight (VW), or dimensional weight reflects the density of a parcel.
In general, a less dense item would occupy more space (i.e. more volume), and vice versa.
VW is calculated using the following formula: (Length x Width x Height) cm / 5000
This is then compared against the actual weight of the parcel. The greater of the two will be used to determine the shipping fee.

Flickpost Greenlane (绿色通道) shipping option offers guaranteed custom clearance and paid duty tax 包税包清关 to Cambodia, China, Laos, Macao, Myanmar, Thailand & Vietnam.

The sender is expected to pack the parcels with their own packaging. Sender is responsible to ensure own packaging is sufficient to prevent unwanted damages.
We offer free pickups throughout Peninsular Malaysia.
Standard pickup hours are between Monday-Friday, 2 pm to 6 pm. This excludes states such as Johor and Kelantan where the official weekend is Friday and Saturday.
Bookings placed before the 12pm cut-off time will be collected on the same day. Bookings received after 12pm will be picked up the next working day.
All shipping rates quoted are nett, except for the following:

By default, the receiver is responsible for providing any information required by destination customs for clearance.
The receiver needs to be cooperative with the destination country’s customs in ensuring the documents requested are furnished or duty tax imposed are paid.
You can drop off the parcels at any of our Drop-off location if you prefer.
Flickpost provides free parcel insurance coverage up till RM 500 for loss or damages. Additional insurance coverage for higher-value items can be purchased at 2% of the intended insured sum.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires the filing of Prior Notice for all food, beverage, toiletries and personal products entering the country. Upon receipt of Prior Notice, the FDA will issue a confirmation number in the form of a barcode which must accompany the shipment. Electronic filing is required and all documentations have to be accurate and complete prior to shipment arrival to avoid clearance delays or rejection by customs.
The list of commodities below require FDA Prior Notice:
(a) Food and beverage (e.g.: chocolate, coffee, fruits, honey, nuts, tea, spices)
(b) Pharmaceuticals (e.g.: health supplements and vitamins)
(c) Personal products (e.g.: cosmetics, perfumes, toiletries)

Flickpost offers FDA filing as an add-on service. First submission will be RM50/product. Subsequent products would be RM25 each.
Kindly note that final approval is subject to the jurisdiction of the respective customs and regulatory agencies at destination country.
For Economy, Standard and Priority shipping option:
Duty and taxes (D&T) are not included in the shipping fee as it is subject to local customs discretion, except for Greenlane shipping option.
For Greenlane shipping option:
D&T are inclusive and will not be subject to anymore D&T.

A tracking number will be generated as soon as a request is submitted. A pickup will only be arranged when payment is completed..
For pickups (within Penisular Malaysia):
Please make sure that each parcel has
• 1 Flickpost label AND
• 1 GDEX label
attached to it before handing over to the GDEX driver. They will call you before heading over.
Bookings received before the daily cut-off time of 12 pm will be collected on the same day. On the other hand, bookings received after the cut-off time will be collected the next business day. Pickups are generally conducted between 2-6 pm, Monday to Friday.
Priority and Priority FDA is essentially the same service. The only difference is that Priority FDA includes an RM 50 FDA filing/sensitive item surcharge for sensitive items/items where an FDA filing is needed.
We are focusing on sending parcels from Malaysia to other countries at this stage, excluding imports and domestic shipping.

Worry not, if you don’t have access to a printer, all you need to do is write down both the Flickpost and GDEx tracking numbers on paper and attach it to the parcel. Let our customer service team know so that we can take a look out for you.
You can key in an estimated weight of your parcel when you place a booking. The parcel(s) will be audited when it arrives at our hub. We will let you know if the parcel is actually heavier.
